The Campaign for Thacher

The Campaign for Thacher is a milestone effort to secure the resources necessary to strengthen Thacher's programs and facilities and to safeguard its financial wellbeing for future generations. Thacher is committed to protecting what makes it strong and distinctive. To do so, we have set out to raise the funds necessary to remedy our shortcomings. The Campaign will enable the School to increase the endowment and fund capital building projects that support academic and boarding school life.

The Campaign focuses on endowment for faculty salaries, financial aid, and unrestricted needs. Capital fundraising efforts include new faculty homes, the Commons Project (Performing Arts Building and Student Center), a Fitness Center, and an additional athletic field. The Lower School and The Hill Dormitories will be replaced.

Annual Giving also plays a critical role in Thacher's success. Aggressive increases to the Annual Fund during the Campaign will provide needed budget relief and support the day-to-day life of Thacher's students and faculty.
