Campaign Giving Opportunities
Unrestricted Endowment
Gifts to the Unrestricted Endowment provide perpetual support for Thacher’s greatest needs. The draw from this endowment is used to offset the budget gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Thacher education. Unrestricted endowment gifts give the School strategic flexibility to manage programs both now and in the years to come and to ensure the strength and breadth of the program.
Unrestricted Endowment Goal: $7 Million
Head of School Fund
For the last 126 years, the Thacher School has benefited from the thoughtful leadership of nine Heads of School. From Sherman Day Thacher to Michael Mulligan, our Heads of School have provided academic and moral inspiration to countless students, faculty, alumni and parents. To honor these men, and to provide funds to implement their visions, the Board of Trustees has established the Head of School Fund. These funds, with Board approval, will be used by the Head of School at his discretion for key priorities such as program needs. Your support of this fund will support current Head of School Michael Mulligan’s efforts to constantly improve the School.
Head of School Fund Goal: $5 Million
Total Unrestricted Endowment Goal: $12 Million
