Endowment for Financial Aid
Thacher helps build a strong and diverse community of young scholars and future leaders by supporting close to a third of the student body with financial aid grants. However, unlike many of our better-endowed peer schools, Thacher cannot meet the financial aid requirements of a significant number of exceptional candidates we would like to admit. To educate a wider spectrum of talented students, Thacher seeks funds for financial aid endowment, which would be divided between low-income and middle-income families.
Financial Aid for high-need students: The cost to endow one full scholarship is $625,000.
Financial Aid for middle-income students: The cost to endow one partial scholarship is $312,000.
Endowment for Financial Aid Goal: $11 Million
